Anyway, yippie!! I love Rednesday!!
Today I thought I would share my little Ideal "Boopsie" doll. I'm not sure if that is her official name, but it's what I have always referred to her as! She is marked Ideal Pat. Pending on her back, and she is from the 1950's. I have always meant to give her a proper dress, as this ratty piece of thin felt or flannel is what she came to me wearing.....but, over the years I've grown rather attached to it, and it seems to suit her! Anyway, she has never complained!!
As usual, I am linking up with Sue over at It's a Very Cherry World....won't you stop by and join in the fun??....
There's nothing I like better than children's books...well except for dolls! I LOVE dolls and you have the perfect little display using both! And I like her sweet little dress! It suits her! What a treasure! ♥
ReplyDeleteShe is cute. Something so dreamy about these tiny dolls and their faces. Smiles...Renee

How very sweet...I have many of my childhood dolls but not this one.
ReplyDeleteYour dolls are adorable. I have two of my childhood dolls and should post them on Rednesday some day as they both have red dresses. Thanks for visiting me and becoming a follower. Your blog is lovely - i can't believe I haven't found it before now.

She's just adorable! I keep seeing these on Flickr, and now I'm keeping my eyes open for one for myself. They've got such expressive eyes! Love the books and toys you've got her displayed with too!
ReplyDeleteHappy REDnesday,
Carol
She is a cute doll. I am with you on keeping her in her dress she came in.
ReplyDeleteHappy Rednesday!
She looks very sweet dressed in red. And I see a Raggedy Andy book in back of her!! :-) I loved my R. Andy when I was a little girl. And big girl. Still. (I don't have him anymore, he completely wore out. But my son has a new one sitting in his room.)
ReplyDeleteThank You for stopping by my blog and leaving me a sweet comment! I'm your newest follower :)
ReplyDeleteYour doll is certainly a sweetie, I think I had those stuffed cats as a little girl...they look so familiar to me!!
Have a great night!
