Hi Everybody!!
Well, here's what I've been up to...
I made another pillow using the calico fabric I mentioned previously, as well as a super sweet doggie dresser scarf that used to adorn my son's dresser when he was little...he is 12 now and a wee bit past the darling doggie stage! I decided this little fellow needed to see the light of day again instead of being stuffed in a drawer!

Mr. Sock Monkey posing with the pillows..my husband found him yesterday while we were thrifting! |
I love how those three pillows look together, and that doggie one is just adorable! Such a great idea, instead of keeping the cute linens packed away!

Precious Pillows! Welcome to the blogging world and thanks for visiting mine. I only started in September! I will add you to my reader and I am looking forward watching your blog grow! Blessings from Alabama!
ReplyDeleteHi Deanna! What a cute little re-purposing project! Thanks for the sweet comment on my blog, I am now following you, too! Hopefully you will give me some inspiration as I begin my own adventures in sewing! I just got a Singer sewing machine for my birthday, first sewing machine of my own, and I am ready to take on the world with it! Okay, well maybe I will start with pillows... ;)
ReplyDeleteLove your pillows! Your sampler one too. You are very talented. Do you ever sell your darling creations?
ReplyDeleteYour pillows are VERY charming. And how sweet that your hubby found the little monkey. I made one of those a long time ago. Quite labor intensive! The ones I bought recently were only $10 each at Walmart. Wow!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting.
