You know, those tall, unruly things that seem to magically appear everywhere this time of year. I've been waiting for what seems like forever to get my hands on some, and guess what??! Yep, that's right, I finally scored!! You wouldn't think cornstalks would be so difficult to find, especially since I live in a highly agricultural area, but they've been mighty scarce this year!! I am thrilled to have found some!!
The fun part was getting them into my little car! It was a very tight fit, and I'm sure I'll be finding corn husks in the furthest, darkest corners of my car for months!! They were even sticking to the roof!!
I offered to pay my son $5 to clean out my car, but so far he has declined!! Maybe I need to up the ante??.....
I also found the cutest little orange pansies that I couldn't resist! I can't wait to see them when they bush out a little!!

Glad you found some good-looking corn stalks! Ours were short and pitiful this year. I haven't even put them out! Corn stalks do add so much to Fall decorating, though!
